My wife and I moved to Colorado in 2013. We have enjoyed visiting Telluride over the years and wanted something to remind us of our trips to Southwestern Colorado. Meena painted this vibrant, colorful rendition of the San Juan Mountains, which captures their beauty and spirit. It is a welcome addition to our dining room and puts a finishing touch on our recent home renovation. We love Meena's work (I'm particularly fond of her abstracts) and look forward to adding additional pieces to our collection in the future.

I commissioned Meena to paint a unique piece of abstract art. I love the results. She put such care and detail into her work. I enjoy looking at this piece of art every day!

I love this painting. In it, Meena captured the eternal nature of motherhood. When I sit in my living room, looking at Meena’s transcendent, sublime painting, a peaceful happiness overtakes me as the love that I feel for my daughters and my dearly departed mother rises within me.

What a pure joy to see my rustic rooster painting by Meena Subramanian upon entering my kitchen each morning! Its' vibrant colors and sunrise along with the rooster brings contentment to me. This painting adds a special heartfelt addition to the room. Meena has a true gift which she shares lovingly - thank you Meena for your blessed talent! - Barbara Hokanson
For my birthday last year, my husband, Jay, commissioned Meena to paint a picture of
me with my six grandchildren. I love Meena’s interpretation, which combined my affection for my grandchildren with my steadfast devotion to the practice of yoga. My grandchildren, who are facing outward, remind me of the vibrancy and future promise of our younger generations. The center figure—representing me—is turned away from the viewer and reminds me of the tranquil and more composed years of our senior years. The painting hangs in our bedroom, and I look upon it every night before closing my eyes. At the time that my husband surprised me with the painting—over eighteen months ago—he wondered aloud, “What if we have a seventh grandchild?” With a sense of cosmic spirituality, I said, “There will be a seventh and Meena has me looking at the little one.” My husband appeared puzzled, and I said, “The sun represents our grandchild to come.” In the fall of this year, we will be welcoming our seventh beautiful grandchild. - Cynthia Levine, 2024 |
I saw some of Meena’s art hanging in my friend’s living room and really loved it. I checked out her website and saw she had many beautiful landscape paintings, including a painting of the St. Paul Wabasha Bridge where I frequently go for walks. I knew I had to purchase it. Now I have a lovely piece of Meena’s art in my living room as well!
